Transfers to Sesimbra beaches Transfers to Sesimbra beaches

Sesimbra beaches and bays have limited access, being that it’s only safe to do it by boat. By land, the winding and highly sloped paths make these dazzling Sesimbra beaches only accessible to the more adventurous.

Bolhas Tours - Follow Sensations team has a transfer service by boat to the beaches that will allow you and your family or group of friends to spend one, or more days in full comfort in Sesimbra desert beaches and bays.

Transfers – Sesimbra and Arrabida beaches you can get to know by boat:

  • Ribeiro do Cavalo Beach – Daily transfers from €15 per person - This Sesimbra beach is selected by several publications as one of Portugal´s most beautiful beaches. It lies 1 nautical mile away from Sesimbra and its turquoise water make it a holidaymaker delight in the summer months. Its name comes from a rocky outcrop to the west that resembles to a horse’s neck - Cavalo; and a watercourse - Ribeiro that flows along the hillside, making its way until reaching the beach.
  • Cova da Mijona Beach – Under prior scheduling, from €20 per person - With a “sui generis” name this beach lies 2 nautical miles away from Sesimbra. One of its main interests is an old traditional fishing shelter recently restored by its owners. Cova beach lies in an open and south-facing bay and with its small perfect white pebbles it is a wonderful option and an excellent reason to explore in a boat trip Sesimbra´s and Arrábida coast.
  • Baleeira Beach – Under prior scheduling, from €35 per person - Sesimbra most western beach is located near Espichel Cape. Amid large rock formations that shelter it from the wind and the rippling waters Baleeira - Whalers beach was a centenary sheltering harbor for typical Sesimbra´s fishing activities like Tuna fishing. This protected bay makes Baleeira one of the main diving spots and snorkel choices. With crystal clear water is rich in marine life, such as octopuses, wrasses, and several kinds of algae that provide shelter for several juvenile fish species.
